Tech startup Nothing releases the first image of the Nothing phone (1) design.

As promised, a transparent back can be seen in the image. But what can be seen is the wireless charging coil but not everything is see-through, unlike expected by others.
A dual-camera setup can be seen on the top left corner and a Nothing logo on the bottom. There are some light-up strips around the camera and charging coil so it’s just exciting to see once the phone is powered on.
The phone also has flat sides, volume rockers on the left-hand side, and a power button on the other side. Based on previous teasers, the Nothing phone (1) will sport a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and 45W fast charging, its software is handled by the tech startup’s own Nothing OS based on Android 12
Based on their website, the smartphone is ‘Designed with intention. Full of warmth. And joy.’ Whatever may be the meaning of those words, let’s wait and see how these words reflect the smartphone coming to life.
The launch event is on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 16:00BST, that’s around 11:00 PM, the same day in the Philippines.
