Samsung Galaxy M32 Hands-on

After a year, Samsung has officially launched its newest member of the M-series in the Philippines, the Galaxy M32. It features a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, a 90Hz 6.4-inch FHD+ display, quad rear cameras, and a massive 6,000mAh battery. We took it for a quick hands-on; check it out!

The is a tall and thin device; also it’s pretty lightweight despite its huge battery. The rear is made out of glossy polycarbonate material with a reflective striped pattern. Also, at the back, you will find the quad-rear cameras and the LED flash. From this side, you will see its plastic frame with a metallic finish. As for colors, the Galaxy M32 comes in Black and Light Blue.

The front panel consists of a 6.4-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080) sAMOLED Infinity-U display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. And unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy M31, this time, we’re getting a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The display has an “Infinity-U” notch that houses the front camera and the speakerphone. The screen can also go up to a total brightness of 800 nits which makes it legible under bright outdoor conditions. The bezels are relatively thin, except for the chin.

On the right are the volume buttons and power/lock key that also functions as a fingerprint scanner. The keys are plastic but clicky and solid.

Meanwhile, the dual SIM tray with a dedicated microSD card slot sits on the left side of the device.

Up top is the secondary microphone.

Down at the bottom, we have the 3.5mm headphone jack, main microphone, UBS-C port, and loudspeaker.

Powering the Galaxy M32 is a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It also features expandable storage up to 1TB. For software, it runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. Check out the benchmark scores below.
