Samsung’s trend of releasing 2016 versions of their line-up continues as the South Korean company has listed the new Galaxy On7 (2016) on the company’s China website.

The newer On7 gets upgraded to an Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, 3GB of RAM, and a full HD display. Internal storage is now at 32GB with possible expansion up to 256GB via a microSD card. There’s a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. These new specs are significant upgrades from its predecessor.

The handset is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow skinned with Samsung TouchWiz. A fingerprint scanner is embedded to the home button as well like other higher-end Galaxy smartphones w/ a 3,300mAh sealed battery in the chassis.
