A law has been passed by the European Council that forces manufacturers for battery-powered devices to have replaceable batteries.

The law states that any battery-powered device makers, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops must have replaceable batteries. This means that the battery of the device must be easy to replace without any expertise or tools needed.
The law creates a circular economy that allows the resources to be recycled or reused. This will officially be implemented by 2027 to give manufacturers time to redesign their items.
Smartphones with replaceable batteries will slowly emerge to comply to this European law since most companies do not usually make region-based devices.
What do you think of smartphones and other devices having easily replaceable batteries? Let us know in the comments!
