Both smartphones have some peculiar display types that are equipped with them. The Moto X4 has an LTPS IPS one while the Zenfone 4 SD630 has Super IPS. Both are an upgrade in the usual IPS display type. We cannot differentiate for now which one is better but we are certain that both have good viewing angles and color accuracy. The Zenfone 4 SD630 has a better viewing experience due to its larger screen size. Some would prefer a smaller screen size like the Moto X4 though.
Both smartphones carry the same chipset. They have the Snapdragon 630 processor with an Adreno 508 GPU. It is an upgrade from the usual Snapdragon 625 that is currently being used by some mid-rangers out in the market. We do not have a review for the Moto X4 yet but based on the benchmark scores that we got from the Zenfone 4 SD630, it showed that it has an above average performance with fast and smooth response times. As for its GPU, they have an Adreno 508 which can run light to moderate games smoothly. As for heavy graphics games, the device can run them even at high settings but do not expect a smooth gaming experience from it.
It is quite interesting that both smartphones share an almost the same rear camera setup. The difference is that the Zenfone 4 SD630 has a wider aperture and has more camera features based on the specs that we have seen. We have taken sample shots on the Zenfone 4 SD630 in our review. As for the front camera, the Moto X4 is the right pick if users are fond of taking selfies as it offers a higher resolution.
The Moto X4 has a 3,000mAh battery with a Quick Charge 2.0 technology while the Zenfone 4 SD630 has a 3,300mAh with fast charging as well. Upon testing the latter’s battery life performance, we found out that it can last up to 12 hours and 29 minutes. Unfortunately, we have not tested out the former’s battery life performance but we can expect a result which is close to the Zenfone 4 SD630.
Moving on, the Moto X4 has an IP68 water and dust resistance which is useful for traveling or accidents that involves liquids. Aside from that, it has an FMÂ Radio Tuner. The Zenfone 4 SD630 does not have both of the said features which makes it below the former in terms of extra features.
The Motola Moto X4 is priced at Php23,999USD 409INR 34,669EUR 390CNY 2,978 while the ASUS Zenfone 4 SD630 variant is priced at Php19,500USD 332INR 28,170EUR 316CNY 2,420. If we take a look at the specs-to-price ratio, we can say that both are somewhat overpriced. If you have a lesser budget, go with the Zenfone 4, but if you have an extra cash and wanting to have that juicy IP68 resistance, go with the Moto X4.
Both are great mid-to-high range smartphones but there are always competitors who have it better than the two devices for a more reasonable price.

wala.. parehas sobrang mahal ang presyo nila for the specs.. i’d rather save more bucks and buy the lg g6 with a flagship tier instead if only the basis is the dual camera set up, usb type C, fast charging with NFC and water proofing to have that high price point but in a midranged specs.
