Samsung Galaxy C5:
ASUS Zenfone 3:
Both the Galaxy C5 and Zenfone 3 have their own advantages. With the Galaxy C5, you’re getting a more favorable Super AMOLED display over an LCD panel. It also got a slightly brighter lens, both front and back, at f/1.9 aperture which should be able to capture more light. There’s also NFC on board with support for wireless payments and you’re getting a slim, nicely crafted aluminum body.
As for the Zenfone 3, it’s got more processing power with a Snapdragon 625 and also a better Adreno 506 GPU. The camera is more suited for video recording thanks to its 3-axis OIS for more stable clips. And lastly, its uses the reversible USB Type-C port for charging and data connectivity.
The design of the handsets is a matter of preference. If you find a glass body beautiful on a phone, then the Zenfone 3 is there for you but if you’re clumsy and prefer the cold touch of aluminum, then go for the Galaxy C5.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 is currently being sold in the country by Widget City for either Php17,990USD 307INR 25,988EUR 292CNY 2,233 (32GB) or Php19,990USD 341INR 28,878EUR 324CNY 2,481 (64GB) (see listing here). The ASUS Zenfone 3, on the other hand, is yet available for purchase but it will soon be starting at an estimated price of Php12k when converted.

bang for the back would go to asus.
it should be asus zenfone 3 vs alcatel idol4s

as a samsung S7 series user, id recommend getting the zenfone 3 compared to this galaxy c5. the specs, internals and build is on the flagship level, while this samsung model is focused entirely on the midrange market. the zenfone 3 is definitely the best option between the two.

I USED TO BE A SAMSUNG FANATIC BEFORE AND I’VE BEEN USING SAMSUNG FOR A QUITE LONG TIME, KAYA LANG NAKAKAUMAY YUNG KANILANG GENERIC NA DESIGN, BUT WHEN ASUS CAME TO THE SCENE I’VE TRIED IT AND IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT ME,WELL ASUS USER INTERFACE IS NOT POWERFULL AND COMPLETE AS SAMSUNG HAS BUT THERE’S THIRD PARTY TO ACCOMODATE THOSE LACKING APPS ON ASUS SPECIALLY MEDIA PLAYER. WHAT I LIKE MOST ON ASUS IS HOW I CUSTOMISE MY DEVICE FOR A FRESH NEW LOOK I LOVE IT. THE ONLY ISSUE I EXPERIENCED SO FAR ON MY ASUS IS THE CAMERA BUT WHEN I UPDATED IT TO MARSHMALLOW IT WORKS BETTER,NOT AS FLAGSHIP QUALITY BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE,AND I’M PRETTY SATISFIED HOW IT PERFOM AFTER ALL BAKIT AKO AANGAL WITH ITS TAG PRICE NAPAKALAYO NG PRICE NYA COMPARE KAY SAMSUNG, I’M USING ASUS ZENFONE LASER 6.0
gab says:
i don’t think it would be a fair comparison if their prices are that much different. 18k at widget city? so meaning 22-25k mall price. it’s not even in the same league as the zenfone 3. even if not really a fan of zenfone’s new design (parang generic na lang) the zenfone 3 is the clear no-brainer winner here.
