Specs Comparison: Vivo V3 Max vs Flash Plus 2

Listen to article

Two new smartphones were just made officially recently — the Vivo V3 Max being locally available and the Flash Plus 2 finally unveiled. Although they have a wide gap when it comes to price, their internals seem to have a close resemblance. Let’s check out what these two offer in this quick specs comparison.

Vivo V3 Max Advantages:

  • Bigger RAM
  • Higher megapixel count for front camera

Flash Plus 2 Advantages:

  • Android Marshmallow OS
  • Cheaper

Both are equal in:

  • Display size
  • Display resolution
  • Scratch-resistant glass
  • Pixel density
  • 1.8GHz octa-core processor
  • Internal storage
  • Memory expansion
  • Dual-SIM
  • Connectivity
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Hi-Fi chip
  • Battery capacity

From what we can see on paper, there are a lot of similarities between the two. The only deciding factor here is that if you want a bigger RAM and don’t mind spending a bit more for it, the V3 Max is a good choice. Although if you prefer a more updated OS and are on a budget, the Flash Plus 2 variant with 3GB RAM is the one for you — when it officially arrives in PH.

Hi, the Snapdragon 652 chipset in the V3 Max absolutely destroys the Helio P10 in performance comparisons, so the processor advantage should be given easily to the V3 Max over the Helio P10.

“spending a bit more” is an understatement, considering Flash Plus 2 is almost half the price.

Hi Kevin! Would the Flash Plus 2 come with stock Android? I’ve visited the site but I didn’t find any information if it’s with a stock android or a customized UI. Thanks!
