Starmobile releases a new budget-friendly dual-SIM Android smartphone that sports a 4-inch display, dual-core CPU, built-in Yamaha speaker, and a 2,000mAh battery for just under Php3k – the Starmobile Play.

Ask lang po, does the update for SM Play into Kitkat applicable to all SM Play phones??? Or only to newer version of SM Play. I have this one, free from sun postpaid 350.

Sa bagay oo nga tama kah, pero decent naman yung mga ibang specs niya for a 2k nga phone,, ???? pero medyu in doubted lang talaga ako sa ram,, hehe mostly kasi maga android is tag 1gb kasi yung mga ram nila

well, target nito ung mga taong basic tasks lng ang ginagawa right text,call,internet,casual games, etc. kaya ok n rin yan sure n d maxadong maglalag yan

hmmm ram lang talaga ang prob., kung windows lang sana to ok na ok, pero pag android 512 is sa tingin ko not enough, parang mag lalag talaga toh,, :(

simple solution:buy a little more expensive phone like flare.ang muramura na nga nung phone ang gusto mo pa eh 1gb ram.

actually enough na yung 512mb na ram esp kapag rooted at may greenify ka. sobrang dali lang naman magroot ng mtk devices. install ka lang ng framaroot. yung backup phone ko same spec lang pero wala akong napapansin na lag. sobra smooth. mas ginagamit ko pa sya minsan kasi mas matagal battery kapag ginagamit ko for music.

naman kung kelan nakabili na ko ng StarmobileLIKE tsaka naman lumabas to sa mga koisk.. halos same specs maliban sa battery(Play 2000mah>Like 1500mah) at rearcam(Play 5mp<Like 8mp).. tskkk..

just bought mine kanina.. sa build quality hindi ako makapaniwala na 3k lang ito.. linaw pa ng screen.. medyo may kabigatan yung unit pero hindi sya mukhang laruan.. medyo may kalabuan ang cam pero ok lang.. gagamitin ko lang itong 3.5G hotspot dahil sa main phone ko na naka-globe, may cap!

ok mejo nakakatuwa na may murang phone galing sa Starmobile hahaha anyway un nga sana 1gb ung RAM kahit may kaunting bump sa presyo pero ok na khait kalahati lng makakatakbo naman yan ng maraming apps na eh di nga lng mga intensive games =)

sulit na din yan kahit papaano..3k lang ang price pero ok ang specs.. ofcourse dont expect 1gb ram .dapat ginawa nlng sana itong low-end gpu at ginawang qhd resolution.sigurado bibilhin ko na ito pang backup phone :)

Agree…I was thinking of buying a good smartphone na pang commute pag color coding, this one fits the bill. I don’t mind the less-than-sufficient RAM, eh viber, SMS, skype tsaka lite browsing lang naman panggagamitan ko, basta tatagal yung battery ok na sakin yun :-)
