vivo X Fold5 specs, price in the Philippines

vivo has finally released its newest book-type foldable in the Philippines: the vivo X Fold5.

It boasts an 8.03-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED folding screen and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen also using an LTPO panel. In its unfolded state, it measures a mere 4.3 mm and goes relatively slim at 9.2 mm when folded.

Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, configured with 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Notably, despite being a foldable, it comes with certain levels of ingress protection, including IP5X, IPX8, IPX9 ratings for dust and water resistance. vivo also claims its “kinematic” hinge can withstand up to 600,000 folds.

For optics, it comes with a triple rear setup, all having 50-megapixel sensors, consisting of a main shooter, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses. For selfies, the phone has two 20-megapixel cameras located on both the cover and main folding displays.\

Battery-wise, the phone packs a 6000mAh unit paired with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Notably, this is the first time vivo has released its foldable offering globally.
