vivo has officially launched the G3 today, positioning it as the direct successor to the G2 released back in January 2024. The new vivo G3 has improved with a massive 6,000mAh battery paired with 44W fast charging.

The G3 sports a sizable 6.74-inch LCD panel, pushing a 720×1600 resolution alongside a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring everyday tasks and social media scrolling feel snappy and immersive. Under the hood, vivo equips the device with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, available with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
Photography is handled by a 13MP rear shooter and a basic 5MP selfie camera, sticking to essentials for clear, everyday shots. Its side-mounted fingerprint sensor—embedded on the power button.
Weighing in at 204g with a thickness of just 8.19mm, the G3 is offered exclusively in black, for now, starting at CNY 1,499 (approx. $208) for the base 6GB + 128GB variant. The higher-tier 8GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 1,999 ($278). Availability beyond China remains unconfirmed at this time.
