It looks like Xiaomi China is set to launch the Xiaomi 17 series this month.

With the Xiaomi global market gearing up to launch this September, it seems that Xiaomi China is planning to unveil their next flagship smartphones with the Xiaomi 17 series.

The series consists of the Xiaomi 17 base model, the Xiaomi 17 Pro, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. All three devices will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

Based on the teaser posted by Xiaomi China in Weibo, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max will have a screen at the back of the phone beside the camera sensors. The rear has a Leica label, indicating camera sensors are still a collaboration with the brand and Leica.
