
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 goes official w/ 5300mAh, Quick Charge 3.0
Mi fans will be glad to see the successor of Xiaomi’s largest smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 still has an enormous display at 6.44-inch but now has a larger battery in tow. From 4850mAh, it’s now rated at 5300mAh — that almost a 500mAh increase. The increase in juice is accompanied by the energy efficient Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset and 4GB RAM.
Aside from mid-range specs, the Mi Max 2 also sports a full metal unibody design and a Sony IMX386 sensor for its rear camera. A fingerprint scanner is onboard and an IR blaster, too. The phone boots Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8.

The Mi Max 2 will first go on sale on June 1 in China, starting at RMB1699 (~Php 12.4k) for the 64GB storage variant while the 128GB variant will be priced at RMB 1999 (~Php14.6k).
