Xiaomi unveils Mi MIX Alpha teaser, concept renders appear online

Xiaomi has posted a teaser image of one of its upcoming devices, the Mi MIX Alpha. Concept photos of the said device have leaked online as well.

Uploaded by Xiaomi founder Lei Jun, the teaser photo shows the Mi MIX with a display that curves around the edges. He then on clarified that while the Mi MIX Alpha is not a folding-screen phone, it will have a “shocking design”. Xiaomi’s official Twitter account also posted an image with the words “What direction should we take? Notch? Dot drop? Pop-up? Or…?”  alluding to the ‘surprising’ design that the Mi MIX Alpha may have.

Apart from the official teaser image, concept photos of the device have also leaked online. Posted by known leaker Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the concept images of the Mi MIX Alpha look similar to the teaser images, with the display wrapped around the entire edge.

Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi MIX Alpha, along with the MIUI 11, on September 24. Stay tuned.
