In an exclusive event by global smartphone brand vivo on May 4, 2024, Alden Richards thrilled fans as he introduced the vivo Y100. This event was hosted by Steph Ongkiko.
Color-changing phone? It is the vivo Y100!
Alden reveals the sleek design of the vivo Y100, particularly in the Breeze Green color variant.
As he stepped into the sunlight at SM Megamall, the phone’s photochromic effect allowed the vivo Y100’s back panel to transition from a light green shade to a deeper hue in mere seconds.
Running low on battery? No problem with vivo’s 80W fast charging!
Alden arrived at the vivo Concept Store in SM Megamall with only a 30 percent battery, but a quick 15-minute charge skyrocketed his vivo Y100 to almost full capacity thanks to its 80W fast charge capability.
“Bumibilib talaga ako sa vivo dahil sa kanyang fast charging. Talagang sumasabay sa lifestyle natin, especially nowadays that we can’t live without our smartphones,” Alden reiterated.
“vivo has been continuously innovating the features of the phone to adjust and be our partner in everyday lives,” he added.
Other vivo Y100 features that captured Alden’s heart
Aside from the 80W fast charging, Alden shared he appreciates the vivo Y100’s 5000mAh battery, stereo speakers, 120Hz refresh rate, and most importantly, its affordability.
He said, “What matters to me when it comes to smartphones is its battery life. Yun ang isang feature ng vivo Y100 that caught my attention. It is also very affordable. Also, yung speakers niya with 300% (audio). Very important din ang smooth interface, yung response ng touch.”
.
“Yung Y100, pina-mura siya para may ka-partner kayo na phone that can sustain your lifestyle and help you make your life better as you reach for your dreams. To everyone who bought the vivo Y100, maraming salamat po,” Alden said.

Alden, just like any other celebrity, endorser, influencer or whatever they’re called uses iPhones. Unfortunately, Apple does not need to pay any of them for their product to sell. So they run to Android brands to get paid.
