Bose Sport Open Earbuds now official

Bose has officially unveiled its latest truly wireless audio device, the Bose Sport Open Earbuds.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds come equipped with Bose OpenAudio technology with an exclusive design. Ideally made for workouts, the new Bose Sport Open Earbuds highlight a contoured ear hook attached to a completely new kind of enclosure that sits above — not over, not in, and not on — the ear canal to redefine the listening experience. These are geared with an advanced microphone system engineered for clarity and isolating the users’ voice by reducing wind and noise interference.

These are packed with innovation with privacy features and resistance against sweat, heat, rain, and snow with an IPX4 rating. The earbuds’ controls are super simple: one button on the left bud lets access the phone’s native assistant, and one button on the right bud for power on and off; play, pause, skip songs; or answer, decline, and end calls.

For connectivity features, the earbuds integrate an etched antenna and Bluetooth 5.1. The latest Bose Sport Open Earbuds measure 48 mm wide x 55 mm high and weigh 14g per bud.

Moreover, the audio device supports the Bose Music app, and it is compatible with iOS and Android devices. These come with a protective carrying and charging base. The earbuds, however, claim to last up to 8 hours of usage.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds come with a price tag of USD 199.95. It is now up for pre-order on the official Bose website and at BestBuy.com. The product will be available starting mid-January.
