Canon has announced the EOS R100 – the cheapest R-series mirrorless camera.
The Canon EOS R100 features a 24.2MP APS-C sensor with 6.5 FPS and Dual Pixel AF with face and eye detection. It comes with a OLED electronic viewfinder.
The rear LCD display is not be a touch screen nor be able to tilt or articulate so users will rely on the D-PAD to navigate around the device. It can shoot videos up to 4K@24FPS but 1080p@60FPS allows users to utilize the Dual Pixel AF.
The R100 is priced at USD 480.00 which is Canon’s cheapest price for a mirrorless camera. There’s no announcement whether the camera will arrive in the Philippines, but we’ll let you know once we know more.
