CES 2025: ‘World’s first’ 750Hz gaming monitor announced

Listen to article

Koorui, a Chinese display manufacturer, has announced the ‘world’s first’ gaming monitor with a staggering 750Hz of refresh rate, the Koorui G7. It is a 24.5-inch Full HD monitor that will debut at CES 2025, with mass production planned later this year.

This announcement follows the introduction of 600Hz gaming monitors by MSI and BenQ, giving Koorui the lead in high-refresh-rate technology.

The G7 features a TN (Twisted Nematic) panel with Quantum Dot technology, offering a 0.5ms response time and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. It also supports HDR400 for enhanced brightness and color.

However, fully utilizing such a high refresh rate may require extremely powerful hardware, and the practical benefits over 500Hz displays may be minimal for most users.

The G7 includes ergonomic features such as adjustable height, tilt, and swivel, along with low blue light and flicker-free technology to reduce eye strain.

Connectivity options include three HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Koorui will showcase the G7 at CES 2025 in Las Vegas on January 7th, with further details on pricing and availability expected to follow.

The brand also officially sells products for the Philippines and interested consumers may visit their Shopee → and Lazada stores.
