D-Link launches the COVR-C1203 WiFi Mesh in the Philippines

D-Link, a known manufacturer of routers and WiFi tech, just released a new mesh to help those in need of more coverage at home. Meet the COVR-C1203, a WiFi mesh with a quirky yet cute design.

The COVR-C1203 uses dual-band wireless AC wave II, which has speeds of up to 1200Mbps and features two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The mesh creates a single network SSID for all the connected devices and routers.

It’s equipped with Smart Roaming technology, which continually scans wireless signal strength of devices and connects them to the one with the strongest available signal. That’s not all though, as it also has a feature called Smart steering where it redirects devices to the optimal wireless band.

To cap it all off, the mesh also uses MU-MIMO technology to guarantee the connection of multiple devices. Consumers can even use multiple units to provide more coverage. Setup is seamless and easy with the help of D-Link‘s WiFi mobile app or through the web-based interface. The app is available for both Android and iOS.

The COVR-C1203 WiFi mesh is now available at Complink, VillMan, Silicon Valley, PC Express and Thinking Tools, Inc. branches for Php 14,780USD 252INR 21,351EUR 240CNY 1,834. Availability in all official D-Link distributors will be this July.
