First U.S. Super Nintendo World to open in Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023

Nintendo for sure did not disappoint on Mario (MAR10) Day! As it has just been announced that Universal Studios Hollywood would be the first theme park in the U.S.A to feature a Super Nintendo World through their official website. The first Nintendo Theme Park first made its debut back in 2021 in Universal Studios Osaka despite opening during the pandemic.

Well, what can you expect? Although no official announcement has been made on what rides and features are going to be found in the land, it’s rumored to be quite similar to what you’ll find in Super Nintendo World in Japan. If that’s true, you may expect to see a high-speed Mario Kart ride and a kid-friendly Yoshi ride. One quirky feature about Super Nintendo World in Japan was the Power Up Band you wore which could interact with your surroundings and track your progress.
