Garmin has just launched new outdoor focused smartwatches, the fenix 7 series and the epix. Better in every way versus the previous generation, the fenix 7 features better solar efficiency which means longer battery life, and more.
The fenix 7 features 300% improved battery life over the previous generation using enhanced solar conversation rate. It also features a built-in flashlight on the watch itself. The outdoor fenix 7 series can go up to 24 ddays of battery life under the UltraTrac Mode. It also features more than 40 built-in sports modes such as mountaineering, triathlon, bouldering, cross-country running, etc. It also has a Real-Time Stamina function that allows users to understand their current physical strength and adjust their speed and intensity in real time.
Athletes can also activate the Up Ahead feature to set strategies using the Garmin Connect app that lets users create a route and mark waypoints. After syncing to the smartwatch, users can quickly preview pre-set checkpoints, water stations, medical stations and other route data. The fenix 7X is also the first in the to offer a built-in flashlight support four levels of brightness and red strobe light which can be activated in critical situations to display SOS signals.
Together with the fenix 7 series, Garmin also introduced the epix, a device targeted for active users, it features multisport functions, as well as a high-definition AMOLED touch screen.
The epix is a premium GPS smartwatch for urban users who enjoy the outdoors. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens and 45mm lightweight titanium alloy bezel, designed for the modern urban adventurer in mind. It supports over 42,000 golf course maps, and 2,200 ski resorts around the world. In addition, it has health functions and smart features, as well as a 16-day battery life under smartwatch mode, and up to 21 days when Power Manager function is activated.
The newly launched f?nix 7 Series and epix are built to US Military MIL-STD-810 specifications, at the same time, support Multi-GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo).
The Garmin fenix 7 series starts at PHP 39,695USD 676INR 57,343EUR 644CNY 4,926 while the epix series starts at PHP 50,735USD 865INR 73,292EUR 823CNY 6,296.
