Grab reportedly adding bike-sharing to its services in Southeast Asia

Looks like Grab will truly capitalize on any and all kind of transportation they can get their hands on as it seems that the company is preparing on adding bike-sharing to its services.

According to Techcrunch, about a week ago a Singaporean shared a photo of what appears to be bikes with Grab and it’s partner Obike’s logos being loaded into a transport van. Although, Grab is yet to announce or provide a statement on whether they are working on adding bikes to their services. While this might first be implemented in Singapore, there is a strong chance that it might reach other South East Asian countries as well, including the Philippines.

Grab remains as one of the leading TNVS providers locally and with the recent reports of vehicle limitations by the LTFRB, adding in bike-sharing might very well circumvent their impending loss.
