HUAWEI has officially introduced the FreeBuds Pro 5 Collector’s Edition, celebrating 2026’s Year of the Fire Horse in Chinese culture. Following previous special releases like the Dragon-themed FreeBuds Pro 3 and Snake-themed FreeBuds Pro 4, this year’s edition continues the brand’s annual Zodiac-inspired tradition.
The earbuds come in a snow-white finish, highlighted by a charming gold-engraved rocking horse emblem on the charging case. HUAWEI used hot gold stamping and fine engraving techniques to create detailed accents such as the horse’s mane, saddle, and tail. The case also features a mini indicator light with a diamond-cut decoration, adding a premium touch.
The Collector’s Edition offers a special New Year pop-up animation, along with a refreshed acoustic system featuring four exclusive sound effects, while core specs remain identical to the original model. The FreeBuds Pro 5 Collector’s Edition is already available for pre-sale and will go on sale starting January 1 for CNY 1499 (PHP 12,537.88 ).
