Huawei has just launched its latest iteration of its flagship foldable, the Huawei Mate X5 10. This makes it the successor to the last generation Huawei Mate X3 foldable.
What’s curious though is that despite listing all its specs, they haven’t indicated what processor the Mate X5 will be powered by but reports point to the Kirin 9000s with support for 5G in place of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset found on the Mate X3.
The Huawei Mate X5 36 runs Harmony OS 4.0 while having either 12 or 16GB of RAM and a standard 512GB of onboard storage.
Its main display is a 7.85-inch OLED panel while its cover display sees a 6.4-inch OLED screen with Kunlun Glass protection while having both displays feature up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
It’s also said to feature their Lingxi AI algorithm and antenna for improved signal protection and have support for two-way Beidou satellite messaging.
Another feature is its air-operate function that lets you use gestures near the phone to swipe between videos and web pages.
