The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition, the company’s upcoming tablet, is now up for pre-orders online.
Its key highlight is a 11.5-inch 2.8K IPS LCD panel with a paper-like matte finish and runs at a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The display, utilizing Huawei’s PaperMatte Display 2.0 technology, is designed to replicate the feel of a real paper. This also significantly reduces reflected light up to 60% with multiple coatings and nanoscale anti-glare etching tech.
Huawei has not specified what powers the MatePad 11.5 S, but it is expected to boast a Kirin 9000 Series SoC.

Price and availability
The MatePad 11.5 S is now listed on Huawei’s official website with a PHP 1,000 deposit to get PHP 2,000 OFF the price. The tablet also has listings via Huawei’s official Lazada 107 and Shopee 73 stores with PHP 1,000 discount voucher.
As of writing, Huawei has yet to disclose the new tablet’s official retail price. For reference, last year’s MatePad 11-inch and 11.5-inch both had a launch price of PHP 24,999.
General availability begins on June 28th per the company’s website. We should expect the pricing info on June 26th.
