Instagram combines IGTV, feed videos into one video format ‘Instagram Video’

Instagram has announced combining IGTV and Feed videos into one video format called Instagram Video.

Instagram Video makes it easier to create and discover videos on the platform. The new Video tab on the user’s profile will be the home for this new combined video format. These videos plus livestreams can be found in the new and improved app: Instagram TV.

In addition, the platform is also introducing more updates, including 60-sec Feed Previews, trimming, filters, people, and location tagging.

Moreover, Instagram will still be uploaded by tapping ‘+’ in the corner. Further, before sharing the video, users can also add filters or trim the video.
