The Intel Core i9-14900KS debuts today as the company’s latest processor.

This processor clocks up to 6.2GHz, which is 200MHz faster than its predecessor, the Intel Core i9-13900KS.

While both processors mix high-performance and efficiency with 24 cores, the new i9-14900KS needs a bit more power at 150W. In comparison, the i9-13900KS only took 125W.

Intel claims that the i9-14900KS can deliver up to 15% better gaming performance when pressed against its predecessor. Additionally, they noted that the i9-14900KS has a 73% improvement in multitasking compared to AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X.

This processor is promising, as its predecessor was already breaking records by hitting the 6GHz mark straight out-of-the-box. The i9-14900KS is priced at USD 689 or roughly PHP 38,158.59, which is lower when compared to the i9-13900.
