LinkedIn to add games to its platform for user engagement

Listen to article

LinkedIn is en route to adding games to its platform in efforts to improve user engagement.

App researcher Nima Owji posted a series of screenshots via an X post showing the games LinkedIn has been developing.

The company has since confirmed their plans. Employee scores will reportedly affect how the companies they work for are ranked in the games.

As per TechCrunch, the titles LinkedIn has been working on include ‘Queens’, ‘Inference’, and ‘Crossclimb’. The company provided the publication with newer images of the games, much to netizens’ anxiety in anticipation for its rollout.

There is no timeline yet for the games’ release. It’s also still unclear if this will be exclusive to LinkedIn’s paid subscribers, or if it’s inclusive of even free users.

This is a developing story, and we’ll be with readers for more details about the story when ready.
