Meizu Unveils Mblu 22 and Note 22 Series: Affordable 5G Smartphones with AI Features

Meizu has officially launched its latest smartphone lineup, introducing the Mblu 22 and Note 22 series. The announcement, made during an online event on May 20, 2025, marks Meizu’s return to the global market under its “All in AI” strategy, following its appearance at MWC 2025 and partnership with Geely.

Mblu 22 Series: Budget-Friendly Options

The Mblu 22 is an entry-level smartphone featuring a 6.79-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by an octa-core processor, it houses a 5,000mAh battery and a rear camera with an F1.8 aperture for improved clarity in various lighting conditions. Pricing ranges between $79 and $89.

The Mblu 22 Pro offers enhanced specifications, including a 6.79-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Helio G81 processor. It boasts a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a durable body constructed with Titan Shield materials. The Mblu 22 Pro is priced from $99 to $129.

Note 22 Series: Advanced Features and Performance

Targeting users seeking higher specifications, the Meizu Note 22 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a triple-camera setup comprising a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP portrait sensor. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 40W fast charging, with prices ranging from $179 to $299.


The Note 22 5G variant adds 5G connectivity and offers up to 24GB of RAM. It features a 50MP triple-camera system with AI scene recognition and a design inspired by traditional Chinese architecture. Pricing for the Note 22 5G ranges from $169 to $229.

At the top of the lineup, the Note 22 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and runs on Meizu’s Flyme AIOS, which adapts to user habits to enhance performance. It includes a 50MP main camera, a substantial 6,200mAh battery, and supports 80W fast charging. The Note 22 Pro 5G is priced between $299 and $369.

With this new lineup, Meizu aims to cater to a wide range of consumers by offering smartphones that combine affordability with advanced features and AI capabilities.
