Microsoft Paint 3D officially removed

Microsoft has removed Paint 3D from the Microsoft Store. Updates will no longer be received for the application either.

Released back in August 2016, Microsoft has officially deleted their Paint 3D application. This is said to be part of the company’s efforts to streamline their software offerings. Because of the lack of popularity the application received, Microsoft decided that it has got to go.

A support note from Microsoft states, “Paint 3D is deprecated and will be removed from the Microsoft Store on November 4, 2024. To view and edit 2D images, you can use Paint or Photos. For viewing 3D content, you can use 3D Viewer.”

Though those who have Paint 3D installed, the application can still be used, but it will not receive any more updates.
