Misfit outs Flare entry-level fitness tracker and sleep monitor

Fossil-owned Misfit has launched a new entry-level fitness tracker – the Misfit Flare.

The Misfit Flare is the company’s new and improved entry-level fitness and sleep monitor. It features a minimalist aesthetic, water-resistant body with a fully mounted aluminum case, capacitive touch sensor, and a single LED light beneath a crystal face that flashes to let you know how close you are to reaching your activity goal.

The Flare works with the Misfit app for iOS and Android, nad can tag different activity types, such as running, walking, yoga, swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis and more. In addition, it doesn’t require charging and instead uses a replaceable battery that lasts up to 4 months.
