During their latest Nintendo Direct announcement video, the company has announced a Nintendo news app for iOS and Android users.
Nintendo Today! is Nintendo’s news application for mobile devices that is said to deliver Nintendo related content each day. This features animated calendars from the company’s different franchises, and new content such as videos, manga and more based on Nintendo characters.
The app also has event schedules that shows game release dates, in-game events, and upcoming Nintendo Direct presentations. Widgets are included in the app too where they can have a calendar and see content through the widget itself.
Unfortunately, the Nintendo Today! is only available in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, and United States.
It doesn’t seem like the Philippines will be part of this list just yet so users may need to install an APK of the app to have it on their device.
