The Pixel 9a was initially announced earlier this month with a starting price of $499 (PHP 28,632.12). However, specific release dates were not provided until now. Reports indicate that the delay was due to a component quality issue, which prompted Google to postpone the release to ensure optimal product performance. This precautionary measure was taken despite the issue affecting only a limited number of units.

The Pixel 9a boasts impressive specifications, including a 6.3-inch P-OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,700 nits. It is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The device features a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens, catering to photography enthusiasts. Additionally, it houses a substantial 5,100mAh battery, promising extended usage. The Pixel 9a will be available in four color variants: Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony.
