POCO’s limited sale: only ₱1 on C65, M6 Pro, X6 5G

POCO is currently offering a flash sale so crazy it sounds like an elaborate April Fools’ joke. During their “April Fan Sale 64,” they’re offering a selection of their phones for the unbelievable price of just Php1.00USD 0.02INR 1EUR 0.02CNY 0.12. Yes, you read that right. One. Single. Peso.

The limited-time sale runs exclusively on Shopee 67 from April 6th to 7th, with specific timeslots for each phone:

• POCO C65 243: April 6th – 7th at 12:00 AM
• POCO M6 Pro 438: April 6th only at 9:00 PM
• POCO X6 5G: April 7th only at 9:00 PM

To recap, the budget phone POCO C65 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with an SRP of PHP 4,999USD 85INR 7,222EUR 81CNY 620. The entry-level POCO M6 Pro equips a Helio G99-Ultra chipset with a 64MP camera with OIS, currently priced at PHP 9,590USD 163INR 13,854EUR 156CNY 1,190. And lower-midranger POCO X6 5G boasts a Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, currently priced at PHP 15,240USD 260INR 22,016EUR 247CNY 1,891.

POCO did not mention any further details on how the flash sale works but expect them to come in limited quantity. Be prepared to act fast if you want a shot at these peso-priced phones.

However, a healthy dose of skepticism is warranted. POCO’s Facebook announcement is flooded with comments questioning the promo’s legitimacy. Some suspect it’s a leftover April Fools’ prank, while others jokingly congratulate POCO employees for being the only ones to snag these insane deals.

But here’s the twist: it’s now April 6th, five days past April Fools’. The phones are also listed on Shopee’s Flash Deals page, lending some credence to the offer. Still, the jury’s out on whether this is a genuine sale or a just an elaborate marketing stunt.
