Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi K90 series will debut next week, with company president Lu Weibing describing it as the “second chapter” in Xiaomi’s flagship launch season. Following the massive success of the Xiaomi 17 series, Redmi is now stepping up its game in both positioning and innovation.

The lineup will include the Redmi K90 and the all-new Redmi K90 Pro Max, marking the brand’s first “Pro Max” model. Aimed at the 4,000 Yuan ( PHP 32,625 ) price range, the K90 Pro Max is said to deliver top-tier performance, endurance, display, and imaging. It’s expected to feature a 50MP 1/1.3-inch main camera with OIS and a periscope telephoto lens, a first for the K series.
Under the hood, the K90 will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the K90 Pro Max upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Both models are expected to pack 2K OLED displays and up to 7,500mAh batteries, signaling Redmi’s push toward true flagship territory.
