Listen to article

Samsung will soon discontinue their Samsung DeX application on Windows once the One UI 7 update comes out.

Samsung plans on discontinuing the support for Samsung DeX on Windows. This will occur once Samsung rolls out their One UI 7 update on their devices.

“The DeX for PC on Windows OS will end support from One UI 7 version. We encourage customers to connect mobile phone and PC through the Link to Windows feature.”

Another feature that will not be supported once One UI 7 comes out are third-party edge panels.

Samsung DeX is an application that allows users to mirror their device onto their Windows PC. It also turns their mobile or tablet device into a PC-like interface.
