Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 is official!

Listen to article

Along with the Z Fold7 Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip7, its most advanced compact foldable yet. The Z Flip7 stands out with a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge FlexWindow—much larger than the Z Flip6’s 3.4-inch cover display—making it easier to type, check notifications, and snap selfies without opening the phone. The main screen is now 6.9 inches, offering more space for apps and entertainment.

At just 188 grams and 13.7mm thick when folded, it’s Samsung’s slimmest Flip, featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a re-engineered Armor FlexHinge, and an Armor Aluminum Frame for better durability.

Battery life gets a boost with a 4,300mAh battery (up from 4,000mAh on the Flip6), delivering up to 31 hours of video playback. Under the hood is a faster 3nm processor, and for the first time, Samsung DeX is available, turning the Flip7 into a mini workstation when connected to a screen.

Lots of software features were added, with Galaxy AI and One UI 8 (Android 16) powering features like Gemini Live—voice searches and real-time camera help directly from the FlexWindow. Now Bar and Now Brief provide instant updates and personalized recommendations.

The camera setup remains 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide, but the Flip7 adds enhanced Nightography, 10-bit HDR, new Zoom Slider, and Dual Preview for better selfies.

Pre-orders start July 9, with general availability August 1. Color choices include Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coralred, and Mint (online exclusive). Samsung also introduced the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip7 FE with similar AI features.

The series is expected to arrive in the Philippines this August 1, 2025. Complete list of prices can be found here 151.
