Samsung launches its first window-type air conditioner w/ digital inverter

Samsung has introduced its first window-type air conditioner, which comes with a digital inverter.

As per Samsung, the new Samsung Window-Type Inverter saves up to 61% more energy than non-inverter units. Unlike fixed-speed compressors, this digital inverter technology regulates the compressor’s speed based on the level of room temperature. The brand also claims that it can keep the room cool without sudden spikes in energy usage.

Additionally, Samsung mentioned that the air conditioner could make rooms cold 15% faster than non-inverter units. The said unit operates with the fastest fan speed to reach the desired temperature in the shortest period of time through Fast Cooling. Once it is reached, the fan will slow down to maintain the coolness.

Other than these, it also features an Anti-Bacterial Filter. This has Silver Ion, Vitamin C, and Anti-Mite Technology which are proven effective in destroying bacteria, allergens, and other airborne contaminants, the brand declares.
