Smart’s 2-in-1 Pocket WiFi now available

Smart Communications has just announced that it will be offering an upgraded version of its Pocket WiFi which now has a built-in battery for acting as a power brick in times of need.

The company calls it a 2-in-1 Pocket WiFi since it does get you connected with Smart’s LTE mobile internet connection while being able to charge your devices. To compare, it’s the same 2-in-1 Pocket WiFi currently used by SkyMobi with its mobile data plans — a ZTE MF903.

ZTE MF903 Pocket WiFi specs:
LTE 150/50Mbps
LTE 700MHz ready
Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi 1×1 MIMO, 2.4GHz
Support connection up to 5 simultaneous devices at the same time
5200mAh Battery
106 x 69.5 x 22.5mm

The ZTE MF903 is available at Smart’s Bro postpaid plans starting at Plan 499 (with a one-time Php2,049 cashout for a 12-month lock-in period) and prepaid kit for Php2,995.

Dont buy this product. Product has no quality. Bought this 4 months ago but item is already repaired twice and now it looks like its going for a third one! – ofcourse by their authorized repair center. I have asked smart to change the item but they refused. As per checking on several Smart Wireless Center, item is already faced out due to quality issues. Many customers are returning the said item. I hope smart would consider a recall since it seems that they are already aware of the issue.
