Snap has announced their latest augmented reality glasses with the Snapchat Spectacles 5.

The Snapchat Spectacles 5 is powered by a software called Snap OS. The user interface is controlled with voice commands and hand gestures. The frame has a weight of 226 grams and have a resolution of 37 pixels per degree. Six microphones and stereo speakers are equipped in the glasses.

Unfortunately, the Snapchat Spectacles 5 is only available for approved developers. They have to pay a USD 99 per month subscription with a 12 month commitment required and have to be in the United States.

It is said that a pair costs more than a thousand dollars to create them, but there is no word whether this will have an official release to the public like their previous model, the Snapchat Spectacles 4.
