Snapchat has rolled out two new features called Infinite Retention and Group Streaks. Snapchat confirmed that Infinite Retention had been in testing since early 2024 and is now rolling out to all users. According to Snapchat, these updates are based on community feedback. Snap has announced their latest augmented reality glasses with the Snapchat Spectacles 5. The Snapchat Spectacles 5 is powered by a software called Snap OS. Unfortunately, the Snapchat Spectacles 5 is only available for approved developers. It is said that a pair costs more than a thousand dollars to create them, but there is no word whether this will have an official release to the public like their previous model, the Snapchat Spectacles 4. Snapchat for Web had initially rolled out last July 18 when the company announced that it will be bringing its app to the web platform.
