Sony Philippines has officially teased its upcoming new, premium over-ear headphones, likely the Sony WH-1000XM6.

While Sony has yet to reveal any official specs, a now-deleted Amazon listing revealed some key features of the wearable.
The WH-1000XM6 will feature a number of upgrades over the previous model, including the new QN3 HD Noise Cancelling processor. It will reportedly be seven times faster than the QN1 chip used in the XM5 from nearly three years ago.
Sony will also use 30mm dynamic drivers and equip the XM6 with 12 microphones (6 on each side), which will work with Multi Noise Sensor technology and AI enhancements for improved performance.
The headphones will continue to support Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, and DSEE Extreme, along with 360 Reality Audio and head tracking.
Battery life is expected to last up to 30 hours, with a 3-minute quick charge providing 3 hours of playback.
The WH-1000XM6 will come in Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue, with a carrying case, USB-C cable, and 1.2m 3.5mm cable included in the box. The headphones will weigh 254 grams and measure 25.69cm x 20cm x 7.83cm.
Launch date
The Sony WH-1000XM6 will launch on May 16, 2025 at 12:00 AM Philippine time. Stay tuned for the livestream here 38.
