Spotify expands audiobook library in partnership with Bloomsbury

Spotify has inked partnership with United Kingdom-based Bloomsbury Publishing. This will expand Spotify’s audiobook library with 1,000 new titles more including popular the ones from acclaimed authors.

The partnership, announced on the one-year anniversary of Spotify’s audiobook launch, will feature works from renowned authors such as Sarah J. Maas, William Dalrymple, and Alan Moore. These titles will be brought to life in narration by talents like Meryl Streep and Emilia Clarke.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Spotify to bring our catalog of audiobooks to even more listeners,” said Sam Halstead, Director of Audio at Bloomsbury.

“We feel confident that this partnership will help to introduce a whole new generation of listeners to audiobooks for years to come.”

Spotify has invested heavily in its audiobook offering, paying hundreds of millions of dollars annually to publishers. This latest partnership reinforces the company’s dedication to providing a comprehensive audio experience for its users.
