Spotify has announced a new feature called Taste Profile. Spotify's Taste Profile feature is designed to give users more control over how the platform personalizes recommendations. Unveiled during SXSW by Spotify Co-CEO Gustav Söderström, the feature lets users see how Spotify interprets their listening habits and adjust it directly. Spotify says this helps refine what appears on the homepage and improves future recommendations. Spotify has updated their Shuffle feature, which now has the options to retain Standard Shuffle or choose Fewer Repeats. Spotify says the new update will keep the listening experience more engaging by removing the same tracks. If users prefer the old Standard Shuffle, simply go to Spotify Settings, select Playback, and choose your Standard Shuffle. Notably, at the time of writing, the new feature hasn't rolled out to devices in the Philippines.
