Spotify plans on expanding their audiobooks with AI narration with the help of ElevenLabs.

Spotify is opening support for ElevenLabs’ audiobooks. This is an AI software company that is easy to use and can narrate with high quality.

The company states that ElevenLabs is a cost-effective method for authors to create their audiobooks with digital narration. This can be done in 29 languages with authors having control over the voice and inotation.

Authors can download the file package and upload the voice-narrated book to Findaway Voices by Spotify. After a standard review, the book will go live on Spotify, as well as other retailers that accept digital voice-narrated titles from Findaway Voices.

Spotify states that any audiobook narrated by AI will have a sentence at the start of the description stating that the audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.
