TECNO has officially introduced the POVA Curve 5G in India, marking its debut in the new Curve series. The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate 4nm processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on HiOS 15 based on Android 15, with a promised upgrade to Android 16 and two years of security updates.
In terms of photography, the POVA Curve 5G features a 64MP main rear camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 13MP front camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30fps. The smartphone also includes TECNO’s Ella AI features, such as AI Call Assistant and AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression. Connectivity options encompass 5G++, VoWiFi Dual Pass, and an Intelligent Signal Hub System.
The device is equipped with a 5500mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, capable of a full charge in 45 minutes. Additional features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, dual microphones, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The TECNO POVA Curve 5G is priced at ₹15,999 ( PHP 10,434.80 ) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and ₹16,999 ( PHP 11,087.02 ) for the 8GB + 128GB model. It will be available on Flipkart starting June 5, with the 8GB variant also sold through offline stores. Launch offers include gifts, extended warranty, free screen replacement, and a chance to win a Royal Enfield or a scooter. The smartphone comes in Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black color options.
