ASUS Philippines just announced that the Zenbook A14 will be making its way to the Philippines. The brand has proudly advertised the laptop’s unparalleled weight (or lack thereof), as well as the power it has under the hood. We’ll quickly explain these things.
The first main point is that the ASUS Zenbook A14 only weighs 899g. At this weight, it sets a standard for Copilot+ portable computers and can easily be stowed away into bags, seat pockets, and other spaces. This weight is achieved since the Zenbook A14 is crafted out of Ceraluminum, which has been touted to be three times stronger than anodized aluminum but still be 30% lighter. That is an impressive achievement and ASUS is at the forefront of using this material for its products.
On top of that, the nature-inspired color pallette exudes timeless, understated elegance.
This makes it perfect for on-the-go professionals who need a reliable work partner that’s light and practical, but still want to look classy doing it.
On the performance end of things, the ASUS Zenbook A14 is committed to getting things done as well. It’s rocking Qualcomm Snapdragon X-series AI-enabled processors for a harmonious balance of power and battery life. The onboard 48Wh battery promises 23 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge, and multiple days of start-and-stop work. Considering that the ultrabook comes with a 14-inch FHD+ IPS NanoEdge display promising vivid colors, as well as two cinematic speakers powered by Snapdragon Sound, watching content on this is sure to be a treat.
Dual lightweight fans and a heat pipe keep things cool internally but don’t get very loud either. ASUS promises that whether the device is plugged or unplugged, users are always getting the best performance that the Zenbook A14 can offer.
An onboard Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for AI tasks offers advanced Copilot+ PC experiences, offering real-time insights, performance optimization, and enhanced responsiveness for multitasking and productivity. Users can expect seamless video playback, efficient app loading, and rapid task switching.
Other cool features include an enlarged touchpad with Smart Gesture support, a smudge-free keyboard, the signature ASUS EasyLift hinge, and a full suite of I/O ports so you don’t have to be searching around or bringing along a dongle.
The new ASUS Zenbook A14 will be available in both Zabriskie Beige and Iceland Grey at PHP 65,995 within March 2025. Each purchase also includes a complimentary Office 2024 Home free lifetime license, plus a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Basic. The Zenbook A14 is also entitled to ASUS’ sought-after after-sales service, which includes a 2-year International Warranty and ASUS Perfect Warranty with 1-year accidental damage protection.
