The Boring Phone launched by HMD, Heineken, and Bodega

Heineken and Bodega have launched The Boring Phone 30 produced by Human Mobile Devices (HMD) last week at Milan Design Week.

This flip phone takes a step back from modernity, having no access to apps, social media, and the internet. This was developed to help people discover there is more to their social life with less features on their phone.

For design, the device features transparent casing with holographic stickers inspired by mobile phones from the early 2000s. It’s also very light, weighing just 123 grams.

The Boring Phone has a 2.8-inch QVGA internal screen and a 1.77-inch external display. It also has 128MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

It also supports up to 4G for connectivity, an FM Radio, and a flashlight. It also has a snake-like icon, which suggests that it has the vintage Snake game from old Nokia phones.

It’s marketed with a week of standby time, and up to 20 hours of talk time packing a 1,500mAh battery.

As of now, there’s no word yet if this will be available in the Philippines. But as always, we’ll be sure to keep our readers updated with news on The Boring Phone.

2.8-inch QVGA internal display
1.77-inch external display
