The TECNO POVA Curve is coming very soon

Listen to article

The tech world moves very quickly. One fine example is that just earlier this month, the TECNO POVA Curve was just being teased. Now we’re hearing multiple confirmations of a release date at the end of the month (yes, that’s next week). Here’s what we’ve learned so far.

Most striking about the upcoming TECNO POVA Curve is definitely the design. It is said to have been inspired by the sleek, aerodynamic-intensive shapes in starships. This is quite evident in its futuristic lines and muted choice of colors. In addition to that, the phone is literally floating in space in the promotional material.

One look at the rear and two things can be derived: the first being a dual-camera arrangement with flash, and that it’s going to be a 5G-capable device. Not much else is known about it yet, save for the curved AMOLED display at the front. There is a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, right at the center.

Other interesting (but unconfirmed) features include an Intelligent Hub Signal System targeted towards boosting connectivity and AI Privacy Blurring to hide some sensitive items on the screen, among others. Expected to come along is Ella, TECNO’s in-house AI assistant, to support users in their daily tasks.

Rumored specifications point towards a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Judging by the looks of the case, it is not likely to provide expandable memory. Android 15 also seems to be the out-of-the-box software experience here.

Launch colors so far include White and Black. This design philosophy seems very close to what Nothing is doing with their smartphones.

More news is set to come on the 29th, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled if this TECNO POVA Curve caught your attention. We’ll see if TECNO can live up to its 3Bs philosophy: best design, best signal, and best AI.
