vivo just launched a bunch of cool stuff in China. One of those devices includes a new flagship Android tablet with some very serious specs, including a 3.1K LCD panel and the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset.
Meet the new vivo Pad3 Pro.
The vivo Pad3 Pro features a 13-inch display with a 3.1K LCD (3,096 x 2,064px) resolution, a 3:2 resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 900 nits of peak brightness and HDR10 content. To give users a better experience when watching movies, there are also 8 speakers with support for spatial audio.
The entire body of the vivo Pad3 Pro is also made of metal, giving it a premium look and feel. The tablet features a rather minimalist design with just the vivo logo at the back. Here, you’ll also find a 13MP rear camera.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the vivo Pad3 Pro is found under the hood. Powering the tablet is MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset, and depending on the variant can be ordered with up to 16GB of LPDD5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. You also get Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity.
Aside from the chipset, there’s an 11,500 mAh battery in the vivo Pad 3 Pro. vivo claims this allows the tablet to have 70 days of standby support. You also get support for 66W fast charging.
The tablet runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 which is paired with vivo’s in-house AI model called BlueLM. With Blue LM, users can benefit from generative AI and text creation. There’s also support for remote access to Windows and Mac. vivo smartphone users can easily transfer files to and from the tablet as well. There’s also stylus support via vivo Pencil2, and you can even get a keyboard case.
There’s no word yet whether the vivo Pad3 Pro will be sold outside of China. But in China, prices for the tablet starts at CNY 2,999PHP 24,175USD 412INR 34,917EUR 392 (PHP 23,360USD 398INR 33,746EUR 379CNY 2,899) for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the top-spec 16GB+512GB variant retails for CNY 3,999PHP 32,236USD 549INR 46,560EUR 523 (PHP 31,145USD 531INR 44,992EUR 505CNY 3,865).
