Xbox Project Scarlett console announced at E3 2019
At Microsoft’s showcase at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019 in the US, the company finally revealed its upcoming gaming console named Project Scarlett.
Based on the company’s reveal trailer, the Project Scarlett comes with an AMD Zen 2 / Navi Processor which will reduce loading time in games. It’s also said that the new CPU and GPU is four times more powerful than the Xbox One X’s custom AMD APU as it allows the console to go up to 120 frames per second.
A new custom-built Solid State Drive (SSD) will also be used in the new console to provide 40 times faster performance along with 8K display capability, as well as, hardware-accelerated ray tracing. One of the main features is that the Project Scarlett will allow cross-platform experience by connecting to other platforms and devices for a convenient and immersive experience.
